Account
For security reasons, your account becomes locked for five minutes after an incorrect password is entered three times. If you don't want to wait and try again, simply click "Forgot password?" to reset your password.

Yes, in order to receive free quotes, you must first download our app and sign up as a Project Owner in order to submit your project criteria to Jper.
Currently, Jper only supports Traditional Chinese and English versions for Hong Kong users. Please note that contents input by your providers will remain in its original state and will not be translated on Jper.

Creating a New Project
A full scope project generally means that multiple or all areas of the residential or commercial property requires structural or cosmetic renovation so it can be costly and takes place for more than a month. To motivate the Service Providers to provide timely and satisfactory work throughout the project cycle, 10% of the contract total will be withheld from the First Instalment as Performance Bond, which will be kept by Jper.

A partial scope project often focuses on remodeling a particular space or repairing a damage spot in your property. Due to its smaller scale, partial scope projects typically requires less than 1 month to complete and Jper does not withhold any Performance Bond.

200 - 400 sqft = 200k - 300k
401 - 800 sqft = 280k - 400k

Budget Calculator
While you should keep the description of a partial remodel specific and concise, it could be slightly different for a full renovation project. This section is the brief to form the foundation of your space design, so it's important to establish a clear list of goals and include an overview of the rooms you require to renovate. Try your best to fill out as much as you can, and Jper will contact you to confirm your project scope together.
It is normal to not have a specific style preference at this stage. When you are submitting your project criteria form, simply pick the image that best represent your design taste or upload your own. Essentially, your provider will discuss key design elements, features, and materials that complement your lifestyle needs and habits before project commencement.

Jper will review your project summary and make sure your request is clear before posting. For Full renovation projects, you will be contacted by a Jper customer representative to obtain additional project details. Then, you will be notified by App's push notification when service providers have sent you a quote.

Matching with a Service Provider
Typically, you will receive quotes from providers within 5 business days after your project scope is confirmed on Jper.
You may receive up to 5 quotes (cost estimates) from different service providers per project. The window for quote submission from providers is 14 days for full scope projects and partial scope projects.
No, Jper will not provide you with any recommendations on which service provider to hire. However, you may refer to their ratings and view their portfolio on Jper when you receive their quotes. We suggest you to carefully review each quote that you receive from the service providers as price may not be the only indicator of a company's service quality.
Once you have received multiple quotes, you shall first browse through their profiles, portfolios, and ratings on Jper and do your due diligence before reaching out to the company. Then, meet with the provider(s) you are interested in before confirming your match on Jper because the face-to-face time will help you determine whether or not you will be able to communicate and work well together. Be aware that the price stated on the quote should not be your only defining factor, and you shall also take into account their reliability, style preference, and flexibility to suit your needs.
Providers that quote on your project do not have access to your contact information and therefore you must initiate contact first. You should message the Provider(s) you are interested in to arrange a meetup and obtain a more accurate quote offline. Please confirm your match on Jper after you have finalized your project scope with the provider offline.
Navigate to My Projects by clicking on the center icon at the buttom of the app interface. Select the quote from the provider you wish to proceed, then press "Confirm Match & Hire Provider" button to complete your match on Jper.
If you have already pressed the "Confirm Match & Hire Provider" button, it means your project status has been updated to "In-progress" and your provider may have begun their work preparations. While we do not recommend you to revert your decision, it is necessary that you contact us immediately if you want to cancel your hire or terminate your project.

Project Management
After confirming your match on Jper, you shall wait for your provider to upload all contract items to Jper first. Then, press "Confirm Contract Item and Deposit First Instalment" to kick-start your project.

Manage your project remotely by monitoring the actual cost, work status, progress photos, and estimated completion time for each contract item.
You will be notified when your provider has amended the cost of the contract items and when you receive a payment notice.
1. PAYING YOUR PROVIDER DIRECTLY
In order to mark your notice as paid, you must upload an image of your payment proof if you have paid your provider directly offline. A proof of payment can be a receipt, a copy of your cheque, or a screencap of your bank transfer.

2. PAYING YOUR PROVIDER ONLINE VIA JPER
You also have the option to pay your Provider online if your transaction is CA$500 and above. Simply select "Pay Online via Jper" to pay with your credit card.
Paying the Third Instalment notice signifies that your Provider has completed all contract items. Please ensure that you have agreed to the completion of this project before making the payment. If your Third Instalment notice is zero, you must press the "Confirm Project Completion" button to trigger the release of the Performance Bond (if applicable).

In most circumstances, the net Performance Bond (after deducting the corresponding fees, if any) will be disbursed to the registered bank account of the Service Providers within 14 business days upon receipt of the Third Instalment from the Project Owners.
If conflicts arose between you and your provider regarding project completion, you may first contact Hong Kong Mediation Centre to obtain free mediation services including 4 hours of document preparation and 4 hours of consultation for all parties involved with the purpose of reaching a settlement. In the case where you and your provider have failed to reach a settlement and want to further pursue your claims, you may need to contact Hong Kong Arbitration Society for legal assistance. Arbitration is used to resolve disputes by reaching a legally binding decision in which one party "wins" and the other "loses". Refer to https://www.hkarbsoc.org.hk/ for more information.
Before your project is deemed complete, you must submit your rating and comment on your experience with the provider so that other project owners may find helpful in the future. Remember to provide useful, constructive feedback regarding your provider's overall service quality, communication efforts, and the timeliness of meeting project deadlines. Please leave out links and personal information such as names, phone numbers or addresses on your review.
